I went to a Yonsei University dental clinic because I wanted to see if the tooth was too far gone to save. Well, as it turns out the filling that I received a week ago is useless. The Korean dentist Dr. Shin(not sure about the spelling) said that there were too many cavities and the tooth can not be saved. This is the third time I heard this request to remove it. I agreed and he immediately remove it at about 3pm 07/17/2017. I have to admit that I hate needles and he poked quite a few times. He worked at the tooth and finally after 5 minutes of pulling and pushing, he loosen the tooth and out it came.
The nice thing about this removal is that it costed me 11,800won! I paid 700 CAD back home in Kamloops from Dr Thomson!!!
Post extraction
They gave me antibiotics, pain killer, and stomach medication.
I told him that I didn't want to take antibiotics! I guess it is standard practice.
I decided to take 4 cloves of garlic at 6pm as a natural antibiotic. I will take 4 cloves of garlic 3 times daily.
I decided to use Dr. Thompson's advice.
1. Do not rinse for the first 24 hours after extraction.
For the next 7-10 days:
Rinse 3% hydrogen peroxide and filtered water (50/05)
Rinse Celtic sea salt and warm filtered water
Put 1-2 drops of Lugois iodine in the socket after every meal.
2. Keep fingers and tongue away from both operative area and/socket.
3. Bleeding - it is normal for saliva to be lightly streaked with blood for about a day. If so, then place a gauze over the area and maintain pressure for 20 minutes.
4. Swelling - some swelling is to be expected often reaching its maximum in about 48 hours, then disappearing spontaneously in a further 2-3 days. An ice bag can be applied if swelling occurs for 10 minutes on , 10 minutes off. This treatment can be valuable on the balance of the day after surgery.
5. Pain - Trumeel Take as directed for 5-10 days.
I did get this product. I received
Traumacare homeopathic
medicine to help relieve muscle pain, injuries, and inflammation.
For acute pain, take one every half hour/hour up to 12 times daily.

Diet
After general anesthetic or I.V. sedation, liquids should be initially taken. Do not use straws. Drink from a glass. The sucking motion can cause more bleeding by dislodging the blood clot. You may eat anything soft by chewing away form the surgical sites. High calorie, high protein intake is very important. Refer to the section on suggested diet instructions at the end of the brochure. Nourishment should be taken regularly. You should prevent dehydration by taking fluids regularly. Your food intake will be limited for the first few days. You should compensate for this by increasing your fluid intake. At least 5-6 glasses of liquid should be taken daily.
Try not to miss a single meal. You will feel better, have more strength, less discomfort and heal faster if you continue to eat. Caution: If you suddenly sit up or stand from a lying position you may become dizzy. If you are lying down following surgery, make sure you sit for one minute before standing.
I had an enema, I used 2 buckets of water. Feels good. I took a probiotic to replace the bacteria the garlic got rid of. I will go to bed late 11:30pm i should sleep well.
It's important to always take probiotics:
after colonics
while taking antibiotics
while doing a cleanse
