MY FIRST JUICE FASTING

Before

113kg, 250lbs
After

82kg, 180lbs

I really enjoyed my liquid diet that was great for the most part. Unfortunately I ran into a health problem during this fast, but this is common when on this kind of diet. I am really happy that I can wear jeans because before I was too fat to wear them and look good.

Before my diet I was 113kg, 250lbs

After 80 days 82kg, 180lbs

Before I started this diet, I ate most foods which is also known as standard american diet (SAD), but now I am a Vegan and only eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains. For the last 46days I have not gained any weight. I have kept to the vegan diet and I haven't gained a pound!!!

I started with Global Juice Feast 2010 blog Check the link for more information.

Axel is an English Teacher and a vegan teaching English in South Korea.  He was on a juice feast/fast from April 12 2009 - July 1, 2009 totaling 80 days and lost 70lbs. To start, he weighed 250lbs and completed his fast at 180lbs. Today August 22, 2009, he still remains at 180lbs as a Vegan.

How To Make Almond Milk

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of almonds
  • 1.5 liters of filtered water
  • Vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the Almonds – Place the almonds in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak overnight or for at least 8 hours to soften.
  2. Drain and Rinse – Drain the soaked almonds and rinse them thoroughly with fresh water.
  3. Blend – Add the almonds and 1.5 liters of filtered water to a blender. Blend on high speed for about 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Strain – Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or fine-mesh strainer to separate the liquid from the almond pulp. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
  5. Add Flavor (Optional) – If desired, mix in a few drops of vanilla extract for added flavor.
  6. Store – Transfer the almond milk to an airtight container and refrigerate. It stays fresh for up to 4–5 days.

Tip:

Shake well before using, as natural separation may occur. You can also sweeten the milk with honey, dates, or maple syrup if preferred.
