Natural Approach to Handling a Toothache

If you're committed to handling the toothache naturally, consistency in your approach is key.

1. Water Fast Until Pain Subsides

Stick to pure water only.
Rest as much as possible to support healing.
Use deep nasal breathing to aid relaxation and pain management.

2. Maintain Oral Hygiene Without Aggravation

Saltwater Rinse: Use warm, high-quality sea salt or Himalayan salt.
Oil Pulling: Helps remove bacteria without irritating the tooth.
Clove Oil or Garlic: Natural pain relievers and antimicrobials (apply gently).

3. Protect and Isolate the Tooth

Use temporary denture material plastic to shield it.
Avoid all food contact with the tooth even after fasting.
Keep the area clean but avoid aggressive brushing.

4. Support Healing with Nutrition Post-Fast+

Begin with fresh juices (celery, cucumber, greens) to remineralize.
Prioritize soft, raw, and alkalizing foods like blended soups or smoothies.
Avoid acidic, processed, and sugary foods.
Over the weeks of use, depending on what you eat, you will replace the temporary denture with a new temporary denture material. The denture will yellow over time and slightly change shape to match your teeth.
